TOURIST ATTRACTIONS IN MANIWAKI REGION
The trails are marked and safe. The work done to date has preserved this area in its natural state, maintaining the flora and fauna in a protected area, while making it accessible to the local population and visitors. The Cedar Lakes Recreational Trails, accessible year-round, were developed for the practice of non-motorized sports. The trails run along 17 kilometers of the Petit and Grand Lacs des Cèdres. In winter, the Boutin Lake trail is reserved for snowshoeing and the other trails are designed for cross-country skiing.
The waterfall is on the left side of the road, before the LaVerendrye park entrance. Nearby is the 1927 Mercier Dam that created the Baskatong Reservoir.
